In 1981, Kitchen Sink Press published an all-new, 36 page Spirit story within the pages of the Spirit Magazine reprint series. This extended tale of the masked crime fighter was an epic Jam piece, featuring 50 of the day’s best artists and writers, including Eisner, Milton Caniff, Harvey Kurtzman, Frank Miller, John Byrne, Bill Sienkiewicz, Brian Bolland, Chris Claremont, and more! This now classic Spirit Jam was re-released in 1998 as a 48-page, magazine size, squarebound graphic novel. It also includes the four page Eisner/Dave Sim collaboration from 1985 wherein The Spirit meets Cerebus!
